Rosenborg Castle Books (rosenborg-castl.world) is a small independent website built around one subject: the literature of Rosenborg Castle in Copenhagen and the Royal Danish Collections it houses. We are readers ourselves, and we made the site we wished existed — a single place to discover the better books on the castle, its treasury and its history.

What we do

We find books worth knowing about, photograph or source their covers, and write our own honest summary of what each one offers. Each title has its own page with a description and the publishing details, so you can decide whether it's right for you before going anywhere else.

What we are not

We are not a bookshop. We hold no stock, take no payments and ship nothing. When you're ready to buy, we send you to an established retailer — such as Amazon, eBay or AbeBooks — where the actual purchase, payment and delivery take place under that retailer's own terms.

How we keep the lights on

Some of the outbound links on this site are affiliate links. If you follow one and go on to buy something, the retailer may pay us a small commission. This never changes the price you pay, and it never influences which books we choose to feature or what we say about them.

Your privacy comes first

We deliberately keep the site simple. We do not ask you to create an account, we do not run newsletters, and we do not collect or store personal information about you. There is no profile, no order history and no database of visitors here. You can read more in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

A note on accuracy

Prices, availability, editions and condition are decided by the retailers, not by us, and they can change at any time. We do our best to describe each book fairly, but the retailer's own page is always the final word on what's for sale.
